5 Best Home Sauna for Every Budget (2023)

If you’re looking for the best Home Sauna, then you’ve come to the right place. In this article, I will go over the 5 best home saunas.

Saunas have been used for over 2,000 years as the ultimate health tool.

The sauna has been used as a cleansing tool long before they had the science to back it up, but those Finns sure knew what they were doing. In Finland, saunas are seen as more necessity then luxury, and almost every house and apartment building has one!

Imagine coming home after a long day at work, stepping into your very own personal sauna, and melting away all your stress and tension. It’s also a fabulous choice for enjoying all the benefits of contrast therapy, to partner with a cold plunge experience.

With a home sauna, you can have that luxury at any time you want.

My name is Molli Lou, and I’m a Finnish American and love a good sauna. I favor a more traditional approach over the modern infrared, however I’ve got some amazing options no matter what your personal preference is.

I partner with the coolest companies to help you reach your full potential! If you buy something through one of my partner links, I get paid for the referral at no extra cost to you! Learn more on my disclosure page.

The nordic ways steam room sauna is a fabulous full body sit in collapsable pod that can be used indoors or outdoors. Its a great choice for those who want a steamier option than the dry sauna blanket.

Product Pros

  • Cleanable Sweat Liner

This portable sauna options a little different than the rest. If you want a sit in portable option, but not a sauna blanket, then this is your best bet.

What I like about the nordic way steam spa is that it provides a really incredible focused sweat and detox. The sauna blankets are great and all, but they are so dry. I’m personally not a fan of the dry sauna style so I had to include an alternative that has a good steam quality to it.

This isn’t one of those weird collapsable home sauna options where your head sticks out of the top and you look like you’re in a sort of iron lung. This is a complete full sized pod, so you could bring some eucalyptus in this baby and HEAT IT UP! I bet this one would be the best option on the list if you have a cold and a case of the winter ick.

This sauna doesn’t just have one take it or leave it option either! It’s got 99 customized minutes and 16 different levels of sauna sweat magic. And as long as its over 65° it can be outside too!

Investing in an at home sauna can provide many health benefits, from improving circulation to reducing stress and pain.

It’s important to do your research and choose a model that fits your needs and budget, because there are so many options available on the market. Remember to properly maintain and clean your sauna to ensure it lasts for years to come.

Whether you prioritize relaxation or detoxification, there’s a sauna out there for everyone. So why not bring the spa experience to the comfort of your own home?

Sauna FAQ

Traditional dry Finnish saunas typically reach temperatures between 80°C (176°F) to 100°C (212°F). At the higher end of this range is where most people prefer their sauna experience; however, for those who find even these temperatures too hot there is always an option to adjust it lower. Some modern day electric heaters allow for more precise control over the temperature inside the room with ranges from 40°C (104°F) up to 110°C (230°F).

The ultimate answer to the question of which is healthier—a dry sauna or a wet sauna—is ultimately up to you! Both have their own unique benefits and drawbacks, so it’s important to consider your personal health preferences and lifestyle before making a decision.

Absolutely! Sitting in an infrared sauna every day can be incredibly beneficial for your overall health and wellbeing. Absolutely! A home sauna is a great way to enjoy some much-needed relaxation and pamper yourself with some well-deserved “me time.” But the benefits of having a home sauna go beyond its therapeutic value; studies have shown that regular use of a sauna can improve your physical and mental health.

Good question! When it comes to the debate between sauna and exercise, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. The best thing you can do is identify which will be most beneficial for your overall health and wellbeing. Generally speaking, a combination of both is best.

Yes, saunas do actually release toxins. In fact, regular exposure to sauna heat has been shown to help your body get rid of toxins that have built up over time. According to studies, using a sauna can help increase the rate and quantity of sweat excreted by the body – this is an important factor for successfully detoxifying the body.
