Alignable made it possible for my business to TAKE OFF, so I just had to do an alignable review!
Im now a group leader of the business consultants industry group that has THOUSANDS of people in it, and I host weekly networking smart connect events there.
It was the launching pad for me, and I am not the only one.
I have talked to SO MANY PEOPLE who have made it the center of their lead strategy.
I have since become an industry leader for the business consultants group that at the moment of typing this has exactly 38,619 members.

In a world where connections and collaborations have become the lifeblood of businesses, Alignable emerges as a game-changer in the realm of professional networking.
As online networking platforms continue to gain prominence, Alignable stands out as a beacon of opportunity for businesses looking to thrive in the digital age.
It’s not just about building connections; it’s about fostering a dynamic ecosystem where local businesses and professionals come together to support, collaborate, and grow.
In this blog post, we will take a closer look at Alignable, exploring its purpose in the world of business networking and the increasing importance of online platforms in shaping the future of professional connections.
Pros and Cons: Alignable Review
In the world of professional networking, Alignable has made a significant impact, particularly for small businesses and local entrepreneurs.
However, like any platform, it comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. In this section, we’ll explore the pros and cons of Alignable to provide a balanced view for potential users.
Pros
Local Networking
Alignable is specifically designed for local businesses and professionals. It excels in connecting you with other businesses in your area, making it an invaluable tool for local networking and collaborations.
Community Support
The platform fosters a sense of community and support. Users often find that they can rely on fellow members for advice, referrals, and local business insights.
Marketing Opportunities
Alignable offers unique marketing opportunities that are particularly beneficial for small businesses. You can showcase your products and services, request and provide recommendations, and even run promotions within the platform.
User-Friendly Interface
The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, you can quickly set up your profile, connect with others, and start networking.
Highly Targeted Connections
Unlike broader networking platforms, Alignable’s focus on local connections means you’re more likely to connect with businesses and professionals in your immediate area who can directly impact your business.
Cons
Limited Use in Non-Urban Areas
I live in a rural area. I ended up choosing the closest largest city, because I literally already knew all the people running businesses in my area. You can also use the paid membership to get further reach.
Alignable’s strength lies in connecting local businesses in more populated areas. In less densely populated regions, the platform may not be as effective, limiting its usefulness for businesses in rural or less urban settings.
Niche Specificity
If your business operates on a broader scale, Alignable’s local focus may not align with your needs. In such cases, you might find larger networking platforms more suitable.
Varied Engagement
The level of engagement and activity within Alignable can vary significantly depending on your location. In some areas, the community might be highly active, while in others, it might be less so.
Free Features vs. Paid Options
Alignable offers both free and paid features. While the free plan provides valuable networking opportunities, some advanced features, such as sending unlimited direct messages, require a paid subscription.
Alignable vs LinkedIn
Alignable and LinkedIn are two prominent players in the professional networking landscape, each catering to a different audience and serving unique purposes.
Target Audience
Alignable
Alignable primarily focuses on local businesses, small business owners, and professionals looking to connect with others in their immediate geographic area. The platform excels at creating a local network of businesses that can collaborate, exchange referrals, and support one another within a specific locality.
LinkedIn, on the other hand, has a broader and more global audience. It caters to a diverse range of professionals, from entry-level employees to C-suite executives across various industries. LinkedIn’s reach extends far beyond local connections, making it suitable for networking on a national and international scale.
Features and Functionality
Alignable
Alignable’s features are tailored to the needs of local businesses. Users can create business profiles, participate in local discussions, request and provide recommendations, and promote their products and services within their local community. The platform also emphasizes direct connections and collaborative opportunities.
LinkedIn offers a comprehensive suite of features, including professional profiles, job postings, content sharing, endorsements, and recommendations. It is a platform for personal branding, job hunting, industry news, content sharing, and business development. LinkedIn’s rich feature set caters to diverse professional needs.
Networking Opportunities
Alignable
Networking on Alignable centers around the local community. Businesses can connect with other businesses in their area, collaborate on local events and promotions, and exchange referrals. Alignable’s emphasis on local connections fosters a sense of community and support within a specific geographic location.
LinkedIn offers broader networking opportunities. It allows you to connect with professionals worldwide, join industry-specific groups, follow thought leaders, and participate in global discussions. LinkedIn’s vast network opens doors to a wider range of professional opportunities.
Which Platform Is Best?
After doing an Alignable review, it is ultimately superior in my view, unless you need to do something it doesn’t offer like a certain extent of international connections. It’s also better for LARGE business connections. If you’re in the upper echelon of business, then keeping connected through linkedin might be helpful.
I honestly think of linkedin as more of a useful modern rolodex. It can help to occasionally reach out for something like guest blogging outreach, or if you’re looking for a very specific team member, or a very specific business.
Ultimately, the decision comes down to the scope of your professional goals. Consider whether you require a local, community-focused approach or a broader, more international network to achieve your desired outcomes.
Both Alignable and LinkedIn have their merits, and the ideal choice will align with your unique networking objectives.

Alignable Email Invitation
One of the ways alignable has spread is through their throwback ol’ faithful, email invite.
Some people have been a little wary of this simple strategy. It’s not a scam I promise!
When you join through the email invite, you get a little nod on your profile. That means the same happens when you invite someone else, which can give you a little visibility boost!
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Alignable
- Cold Messaging is a big NOPE! The whole point of alignable is genuine networking and relationship building. It’s not Linkedin (thankfully) and the platform takes keeping its vibe and authenticity very seriously. Lets help maintain its integrity please!
- Mass connecting isn’t possible, although you can do over a hundred in a month.
- There is a recommendation feature similar to Linkdin. Please don’t be that person. Only recommend people that you have actually talked to and gotten to know well enough for it to be genuine.
